Stem Computer Systems Ltd - Support

Today's problems are becoming much more complex, with such issues as software incompatibilities, viruses and Internet security. This is why we have designed a new type of support contract, so that you can maintain the running of your business smoothly, with little interruption.

Some companies prefer to work on a "pay-as-you-go" basis, others want the peace of mind a service agreement offers. Whatever your choice, we have a solution available.

Since many problems don't need an engineer to be present to repair, we are now offering a remote support service for both workstations and servers. Since we don't have to spend time travelling, this service keeps your costs to a minimum. It also means that most problems are resolved within the space of a single telephone call rather than waiting for an engineer to visit.

Our engineers are highly trained and have a wealth of experience, so you know that you'll get the best solution whatever package you choose.

Remote Support Service

Remote Workstation Support

Log In to Remote Support If you have broadband Internet access, you can take advantage of our remote workstation support. For a one-off setup charge of £20 + VAT we can offer you access to this service.

Our charges for access are at our workshop rate of £20 + VAT per half hour with no call out charge, and you could be up and running again within minutes.

Don't wait for us to come out to you, just pick up the phone and ask us to dial in.

Remote Server Support

Using one of our VPN routers and configuring remote access on your server allows our engineers to access your server securely.

Most server problems can be fixed without a site visit. Change users, access rights, configure scheduled backups, re-route email, none of this requires hands on access to your server.

We also check the log files for any potential issues, so we can often correct them before they become major problems.
